Marty finally came to visit the palatial abode of Boonton, and there was much rejoicing and swilling of seasonally-appropriate beverages.

On an unrelated note, Senator Wellstone was killed in a plane crash, which is particularly sad news. My political stance is pretty weird, but I was always impressed with Wellstone, less for his platform as such than for the obvious and generous idealism that motivated whatever he did. In any case, Marty has passed along rumors that the senior senator from Massachusetts was a late scratch from Wellstone's flight, which is partly morbid speculation and partly another scrap of evidence to bolster the whole Faustian theory.
